Major Professional Contributions:

1. First person in India to have developed the complex SAR signal processing algorithm for Spaceborne Seasat SAR.

2. Development and operationalisation of   ERS-1 SAR processor in India.

3. Designed and developed the first processor for Airborne SAR(ASAR) of ISRO.

4. Design and development of a parallel processor based SAR processing algorithm. Received the ‘100 MFLOPS PARAM Award’ as a team member.

5. As PM for MSMR DP, designed, simulated and developed the Operational Software for ISRO’s first spaceborne microwave radiometer.

6. First optimal configuration designing for spaceborne millimeter wave sounder for Temperature and Humidity Sounding (TSU and HSU) of ISRO.

7.Guest Scientist to DLR, Oberpffafenhofen(Munich), Germany, where she designed and developed the DInSAR (Differential  Interferometric SAR) processor for DLR’s airborne ESAR, sensor.

8. Deputed by ISRO, as a member of the CEOS Working Group on Cal-Val at the International forum, where she represented India for the Remote Sensing Cal-Val activities of ISRO sensors and products.

9. Prestigious ISRO Team award for her contribution in the SAR Processor Development work in India’s first state of the art Spaceborne SAR, RISAT-1 Project of ISRO.

10. Deputy Project Director of Data Products for the Joint ISRO-CNES(France) Project, ‘Meghatropiques’

11. Involved in the prestigious ISRO-NASA SAR project, NISAR  project.

12. First in_house software tool, MIDAS (MIcrowave Data Analysis Software) Tool, to cater to data analysis of SAR data was envisioned by her and operationized.

13. Under her guidance, AVHYAS(AdVanced HYperspectral data Analysis Software)Tool was developed in house and operationalised.

14. Contributed to the Chandrayan-II project’s Orbiter data analysis, for DFSAR data.

15. She has contributed to more than hundred research publications, apart from ISRO’s Internal Technical Reports.
