Major Professional Contributions:

I helped to start the development activities in Hyderabad of California based Redpine Signals in 2002. In 2020, this unit was acquired by Silicon Labs, Inc., an IoT semiconductor company based in Texas, US. In this stint, I have contributed to the development of IEEE 802.11 WLAN standards, the Wi-Fi interoperability certification, obtained 22 US patents, and assisted the engineering team in obtaining over 50 other patents. Prior to this, I helped start the India development activities of Paxonet Communications and, over 9 years, developed methodologies for creating reusable semiconductor IP and semiconductor products for telecom and optical networking. Prior to this, for 8 years, I was developing jam-resistant communication systems at HAL, Hyderabad.
