- Responsible for safety regulation of all nuclear, radiological and conventional facilities of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.
- Did many pioneering works in remote handling technology for Indian nuclear programme.
- Designed the first sets of servo manipulators installed in Indian radioactive cells.
- Developed a few Master Slave Manipulators, Mobile Robots, Automation Systems and Special Purpose Remote Handling Tools for nuclear industry.
- Developed a few remote handling and automation systems for defence sector to handle hazardous materials.
- Developed Bhabhatron, the first indigenous telecobalt machine. Every day, thousands of cancer patients are being treated from more than 60 Bhabhatrons installed in India and abroad.
- Published many well-cited articles in remote handling and robotics areas.
