The INAE Annual Convention 2021 is being held online for the second year in a row due to the present ongoing Covid Pandemic which has continued this year. The highlights of the event are the Inaugural Function wherein Mr NR Narayana Murthy, Founder Infosys, Bangalore, the Chief Guest of Inaugural function shall deliver the Inaugural Address and the Presidential Address shall be delivered by Prof Indranil Manna, President, INAE. The Inaugural Function shall also feature the release of the Book on Making of a Satellite Centre: The Genesis of ISRO’s URSC by Dr PS Goel, former President, INAE. The Grand Awards functions is one of the most awaited items on the programme wherein various awards instituted by the Academy shall be conferred electronically. During the award lectures in the evening of December 16, 2021, the winners of the INAE Women Engineer of the Year Award, INAE Outstanding Teachers Award, Prof Jai Krishna and Prof SN Mitra Memorial Awards and Life Time Contributions Award in Engineering shall make presentations on their contributions that have been recognized and awarded. On the second day ie. December 17, 2021 the Induction Ceremony of Fellows and Young Associates shall be held followed by the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Special General Meeting of Fellows (SGM). The last day i.e December 18, 2021 shall feature the presentations by the Fellows, INAE Young Engineer Awardees and INAE Young Innovator & Entrepreneur Awardees. Various pictorial delights shall be presented during the breaks wherein some interesting photographs of INAE through the years shall be presented.
