Major Professional Contributions:

Prof Rajeev Sangal has been working for more than two decades on
language technology, and has made a mark in the processing of Indian
languages. He has used Paninian approach and developed Computational
Paninian Grammar framework. The framework is not only linguistically
elegant, but also yields efficient algorithms for parsing. His work
combines Paninian approach with modern statistical machine learning
approaches.

He has led a large team of researchers for developing Sampark Machine
Translation System covering 18 language pairs.

He has also been active in building research oriented educational
institutions, and desiging and implementing Human Values in education..
