Prof. K. J. Vinoy's research contributions and books in the areas of microwaves and RF MEMS are widely cited. He has executed nationally important projects as Principal Investigator and partnered in many collaborative projects. He is serving in the Editorial Boards of multiple national and international journals and Peer Review Committees of several organizations. He has served as the Founding Chair of the joint MTT-APS Chapter of IEEE at Bangalore and in various executive positions of the Institute of Smart Structures and Systems. His team won a 2015 IEEE Ulrich L. Rohde Innovative Conference Paper Award in Computational Electromagnetics.
