Transformed Hindustan Aeronautics into globally competent aerospace industry through long term strategic plan with emphasis on R&D, diversification, industry academy interaction and partnership with private industries. Led Design and development of major projects such as Advanced Light Helicopter, Light Armed Helicopter, New Jet Trainer and led HAL as technology / industry partner with DRDO and ISRO for major projects such as LCA, Prithvi and Agni missiles, ASLV, PSLV, GSLV and various satellites. Founded the first joint venture defense sector BAe-HAL Software Ltd and several other joint projects.Guided several SMEs as R&D and Innovation Partners and cost effective reliable supply chain for aerospace components structures, equipments and systems. Founded Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI). Served as the first Vice Chancellor at MATS University, Raipur. Founded the International Institute of Aerospace and Engineering and Management, provid ing industry and R&D linked UG and PG programs in Aerospace engineering. Published over 200 research and technical papers and 24 books in the field of engineering technology and management. Founded the Asian Society for Professional Ethics and Management and is Chairman Editorial Board of Professional Ethics and Management.
